Hi I had my gastric sleeve done 3 years ago. I'm not one for posting on these things but thought I would for you people who are going through the same thing I did, I'm 32 yrs old, have 3 kids. Ive always been big from as far back as I can remember, I always knew I was fat but had the confidence of a thin person!! I never really knew how big I was and no one told me! They probably assumed I knew I was fat!! Anyway after having my kids I just thought enough was enough and went to my doctor, she referred me to the hospital and luckily enough after a few appointments 7 months later I had a gastric sleeve, I was like a child waiting for Santa!! Wen I woke up I cried to my mum thinking I had made the wrong choice because of the pain I was in, few months later I felt fab!! 3 yrs later which is now and I feel great!!! Before my op I weighed 24 and a half stone, clothes size 26, I'm now very proud to say I now weigh 15 stone 5lb! And a comfortable 16 [emoji3] don't regret my choice one bit and if I can help anyone who's having doubts please listen to me it's life changing for the better, thanks for reading [emoji8]IMG_1113.JPGIMG_1170.JPGIMG_1114.JPG

NSV today. I have been wearing my size 26 jeans which have been getting roomy. So today I decided to try on my size 24 Lane Bryant jeans and see if I could get into them. Not only can I get into them, they are also loose. That made me feel super happy this morning. Weight is still 243 but the inches are definitely moving.

Tried a few bites of pasta (protein-enriched penne) tonight. No foamies or anything, but didn't sit well. I'm sad about it, but at least now I know and can move on to trying other things, maybe revisit it when I'm further out.

This is going to sound really freaking weird but I feel like I am in the twilight zone ... like this is all a bad dream I am going (or hoping) to wake up from. I hate food! I mean I fscking hate it! It tastes like saw dust ... I am never hungry and never have a desire to eat. Eating hurts and no one knows really WTF is going on. I mean they think the cause of this is the stomach ulcer but what if all this stuff heals up and I am still messed up? I am down 60 pounds and almost 6" from my heaviest but I could care less. I sleep but it feels like I get none at all. When I wake up even though my stupid CPAP says, "Hey dumbass! You had less than 1 apnea an hour. GTFU!" It's supposed to be really easy to find work because unemployment is low, yet I keep getting turned down for work. At this point, I am like what next?

My surgery is May 30, 2018 and I can not take this 2 weeks pre-op liquid, very hard and my shakes that I got from my doctors office has a funny taste.  What kind of shakes are you drinking for pre op

I have the Premier Protein Water which I still have to water down to be able to stomach it. I would rather be on full clear liquid (which starts tomorrow!)
