I'm probably the only one

I had my first fill yesterday and I was so nervous that I never even thought to ask how much they put in. :D Everything went really well and I was just so happy and relieved that I was like Thanks! Bye! and then when I look at everybody's signatures on here and see that they know exactly how much they've had with each fill, I feel soooo stupid. :)

I know I'm going to need another fill pretty soon because I'm not feeling any restriction at all. So I guess I'll ask next time I'm in there how much they put in. I feel too embarrassed to call and say hey by the way how much did you put in? hehe

Naaaaahhhhhhh! I'd just give em a call and go, "Ya know, I was so weirded out about my first fill I completely forgot to ask how much you put in!" Believe me...it happens! I have always been VERY careful to find out how much I was getting, and my last fill, the 4th, was a "top off" and I was REALLY interested in how much it was going to take to juset ooch me into perfection...I was so excited about getting that last fill I kept my trap shut and bounced out of the office afterwards without a second thought (i.e., my comment at the bottom..."don't know but not much").:faint:

I didn't ask either. I was so nervous just like you. At my second fill I finally asked. I also didn't even know what kind or what size band I had until my second fill. I just left everything up to him. I guess I figured that it really didn't matter...I had the surgery and now I had to do my part. If you really want to know, just call the office...I'm sure that you won't be the first one to call and ask. Good luck!

Don't worry your fill will kick in soon enough.

I almost forgot to ask as well.

They told me 1.5 which seems low compared to everyone else.

I do have restriction though.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
