I had bought some jeans the last time I lost weight. They didn't quite fit then, I figured 5 more pounds or so. Then that never happened and I gained 40. But they fit now!!!!

Whereas this isn't a "victory" per se, but about 3 or 4 weeks out of surgery, the wife and I went to a movie. It was raining and I went to jump over a puddle as I would any other time, total unconscious action. And I overshoot the crap out of the puddle. I just laughed at the idea that I had lost enough weight to accidentally propel myself too far in a simple puddle jump.

I can fit through our hallway dog gate without turning to the side.

I can drive without my belly rubbing on the steering wheel

I can carry my purse on my shoulder with the short straps.

Just a few, sooo many more!

I had my mammogram today and was able to fit and tie the gown with no problem.

I'll bet it was easier to "smash your mammies" since they've slimmed down. Pretty soon, they'll be able to hold mine up to the light and just see through them!

Well this is not exactly a true NSV but I don't know where else to share it. It is an emotional victory for me. See I doubt myself at v times. The victory I'm claiming is: varification and clairification I'm approaching things in thus journey correctly. Although my weight is not flying away on this PreSurgery diet I am losing inches, my exercise tolerance is better, I'm walking farther without having to stop and take a rest, the weight I'm losing I'm not flabby-dying with, sure my blobs are already derounding and getting a little more sock-like, if necessary I'll install a seat belt retractor in my bra cups. At least I'm not to the point where they flop over the top or slither out underneath.
If my diet one day is not as perfect as I would like, that's a stumble not a complete fall. Don't sit around crying or emotionally beating myself up, I just puck myself up, dust myself off, learn from the mistake and move on toward the final goal. Weight loss, surgery, lifestyle changes, they are all possible and within my reach. The is a lot of gusto left in life for me and I intend to enjoy it until my last breath. Its a pretty,bright not too hot day in Ohio today, so let's see what's in store for ME.😝

I haven’t had my surgery yet but i have been working my butt off for 3 months and was able to wear a bathing suit that is 2 sizes smaller then my old one. Good bye 50 lbs of me.
