I hate it when people post just to post.....

....like when clearly the post has no relevance or adds no value to the OP's question or concern.

Like this:

OP Question: I am having trouble finding a good fish recipe I like...can anyone help?

Response: I hate fish! Fish makes me gag!

Can someone explain the purpose of this? I mean, if you don't like fish, then why dont you just move on to the next thread? Who really cares what makes you gag or not gag???? I know I don't.

  • well, i respectfully disagree. I don't think its acceptable to do it. I strongly dont think that its ok to do it, and i do not think that someone who's doctor didnt tell them about PB's who comes here

i have cajun inlaws - who "tried" to feed me fried alligator yesterday. i kept thinking how the HE$$ did they get this alligator to TX??? does taste like chicken - but i kept it the blackend catfish:)

I can't do alligator since banding...it's too chewy and I'd rather have the catfish, too. But I do like it.

We went to Red Lobster the other day to try the tilapia w/white chocolate (from the Next Food Network Star on Food Network) it was YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY. Highly recommended.

My DD and I split one, though, since one serving is 14 points on WW.

I love Pappadeux - the fondue is soooo yummy. I've tried the alligator there, and it's the same - kinda chewy.

I like the soft shell crab.

Is it lunchtime yet???

pappadeaux's is one of my husbands FAVS - he treats "hot sauce" like i do fine wines. we have a pantry full of every kind known to man. he'd put some on a donut if i'd let him:rolleyes:

Lunch?? I am still waiting on my breakfast to get here. Lazy sleep-in morning at my house today.

My hubby is on vacation this week and was up at 6:00 am! Crazy man!

Anyway, he just went to get breakfast for me and the kids and COFFEE!

I hate Mondays.

:bored: he he...yeah, pretty much.

Although, I got so hungry, I needed a snack. So, rather than the m&ms...I grabbed some weight control oatmeal I had in the desk. I put more water in it than I used to, and can never eat the whole thing, but it took the edge off.

whew! I hate being hungry, because when I do sit down to eat, I tend to scarf down my food...then get stuck...then can't eat...then still stay hungry...then just eat ice cream later.

 Better to avoid all that when I can!

I used to love gator tail. When cooked right, it is delicous. But I agree, it is definitely very chewy and not something I have even thought about attempting to eat since getting my band.

Hmmm my mom said gator/crocodile is good, never had it you'd think me living in west virginia that i would have tried it all, gator possom lol etc

My wife's grandmother (My granny-in-law?) once told me that they used to trap and eat "blackbirds" (crow). Ewwwww!! 'Course, she is a bit addled, so I can't vouch for how true her statement was.
