lol I think I am lost.

It's all about college football!! I <heart> me some NCAA football. I also like high school football, but that's beside the point. All you need to know, Froggi, is that the University of Texas Longhorns are God's favorite football team.

Froggi,

I was banded on Oct. 1 by Dr. Nease at Cabell Huntington Hospital. I am getting along great. My incisions are beginning to itch (I've always heard that's a sign that they're healing). I'm on full liquids. Go back for return appt on Oct.10.

Take care.

Dixie

Four pages of miscellaneous topics posted since yesterday morning - you guys are busy! Puppies and babies and sports and missing children and insomnia and a little bit of teasing....

Stream of consciousness ramblings.

Posting to post it is a nice crisp Tuesday morning, and because I have nothing to add to the aforementioned topics.

I'm going to continue the whining about the insomnia.

I can't sleep AGAIN! You would think if i only had 5 hours sleep the night before, I'd get to sleep pretty quickly. But no. The sleep gods are trying to teach me lesson about going out partying until 7am on Monday morning, I predict (it was a public holiday here, so I wasn't skipping school or work.

I don't want to go back to work tired. A tired boss is a mean boss in my experience.

Plain - Do you have any quick easy recommendations as to how can avoid another late semi-sleepiness night.

Susan - I'm a Junior fan myself. I love Nascar. I don't follow it as much as I used to though. I'm never home to watch the races - LOL My favorite movie as a child. Six Pack!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
