I got to onderland. That's new. I dyed my hair blue. That's not that new -- I did that last week.

Oh and I tried to pay for my surgery today but the stupid debit card won't go through. Now I have to get a cashier's check and drive to SF, which I was trying to avoid. Bleh.

It was prolly the blue hair, Mac. I blame the blue.

I had to pay for all my surgery in 3 different cashier's checks to 3 different people. Lots of running around-frustration.

Sans blue hair.< /p>

So, wasn't the hair! :tt2:

FF, You absolutely sure there wasn't any blue in there? Perhaps as a misguided prank by the hubby?

The sun is trying to make another impressive sunrise; my coffee is hot and the music is good...all in all it's enough to make me a very happy gal!

my underwear (:tongue2: panties) is too large now, told DH and he suggested getting them taken in by the lady who does his sewing. LOL

Don't worry this weekend, I'll be at the store, never know when something happens and the dr are laughing at my big mama drawers. LOL

LOL - I know exactly what you mean! I was walking around the other night in my tank top and panties (I like the boyshorts kind). This outfit is my standard sleeping gear. DH commented how much he liked my shorts. I told him they weren't shorts - they were UNDERWEAR! He asked, "Really?".

He refers to my panties (other than the shorts) as granny panties...they used to be sexy (In my own mind). I promise. Time to go shopping!

I run the gammut (sp?) on panties. I have my old "granny" underwear, that I wear when I'm doing yard work, or now running on the treadmill. They come up over my sweats...makes me feel smaller!

Then I have the lacy kind that DH loves. :tongue2:

I went through a thong phase, but they're too big now, too, so I'm wearing them less and less.

Now I'm really liking the no panty-line kind. They're not too sexy, though!

Tried the boy-shorts, but they ride up and get bulky. Leslie, do you wear them under clothes, or just to bed?

I like the one's made by Hanes...used to be Just My Size (which are now the "shorts"), but now I can fit into the regular ones. I wear them under clothes too. They are low enough they can't be seen when I sit and high enough I don't feel like I'm going comando style. I can't do the thong thing - I tried. Feels like I always have a weggie.

I have the lacy sexy stuff that DH likes as well. Last year I had a pair that got toothpaste on them (I found them on the floor). I asked DH, "How'd toothpaste get on my sexy underwear?" Not knowing my youngest child was there (She was 5 at the time). The next week at dinner (15+ people/family) she repeats this story....I was humiliated to the core.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
