Note to all - winning 2 bottles of wine in a raffle at work = trouble. It was delicious, so the calories don't count (do they???). Haha

Oh and yes! VOTE!! It affects us too over here in the southern hemisphere!!

Does that view first unread thread really work for anyone?

Whenever I click on it, it just brings me to the last post.

I can never remember which page number I left off on this thread.

It works for me - it would drive me nuts if it didn't!! I find that there is a slight delay between landing on the page and automatically scrolling to view the last read post on the page, so I have to be patient and wait for that.

Posting to clarify...I didn't drink the whole 2 bottles myself gosh that could have been scarey!!!! We opened them both and drank some with friends over 2 nights

She, as long as it was delicious, and you did get exercise by having to walk back to refill the glasses, the calories were zeroed out.

Good morning everyone. Go vote. Lets end the political arguing here on LBT, woo hoo!!

I was just thinking about having a glass before I go to bed today...is that bad I'm not even off work yet and I'm thinking of drinking?

I'm going to have to check this site before I go to bed each evening - way too many posts to catch up on in the morning.

Make sure to vote - exercise your hard fought right to be heard.

A glorious day; sun is shining, coffee is hot, and Josh Groban is singing...and no one yet in the office.

Tapshoes, isn't that the best time of the day at work? I usually get here around 7:15 and everyone else doesn't get here until 8:00. It is so nice and peaceful and quiet, no one bugs me and I get more done in that 45 minutes than the rest of the day. And, I get to leave earlier than everyone else!

Absolutely! I can also plug in my ipod, and have the music loud and can dance about when at the copier, and sing along (every performance needs a doo-wop girl backup vocalist). Alas, that fun comes to an end once the 'suits' arrive...which is funny, because I am management, but this group of coworkers is about as much fun as a toothache or political discussions on LBT!

There are two places to click. One brings up the last unread post and one jumps to the last post in the thread.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
