How close to goal to have a tummy tuck?

Recommended Posts

Excellent question, I look forward to seeing an average on the answers you get. I am hoping to have a TT, in either late Jan. or early Feb. I still have a ways to go to---but as I lose, I continue to lose in other areas, the belly just hangs there being gross!!! I have no butt to lose---but it continues to shrink and the belly remains...hurry up TT!!!

I honestly want to get as low as I possibly could before having a TT... my goal is 142, but I'd aim for getting into the low 130's and staying there a while before getting a TT. I just have this idea in my head that it would be better to gain a little weight back and 'fill out' rather than possibly lose more weight afterwards and risk possibly being deflated. (but then again, you look at Chickie, got to and surpassed her goal by ALOT and her tummy still looks good) Like I said, this is just my rationale.

That being said, if someone offered it to me tomorrow for free, I'd do it, and love it!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
