You and I have nearly identical weights. I weigh 232 today and just started my two week liquid diet (with one meal a day). My doctors have been very vocal about not comparing my weight loss to anyone else’s because we all lose differently. I might be a bit different than you in that I want to stop my weight loss around 160 pounds. I am 5’7 and I want to hold on to my curves. I also lift weights, so I know that will definitely play a role in losing inches faster than the number on the scale. You are doing just fine and the photos are all of the proof you need. Remember too that when you lose it a little bit slower, you have less chance for excess skin. That was a big issue for me because I am a teacher and you know...we are broke, lol.

GIRL! WE ARE ALL BROKE haha! And i'm very fearful of the excess skin.... I lift weights and do a lot of AB workouts. Probably an other reason why the scale doesn't move.

I'd also like to point out along with what others have said that muscle weighs more than fat, and you are looking like you're building muscle and toning up great! Keep it up! Some people might drop weight faster but not necessarily be more fit. Just keep working at it and it'll keep coming off. Definitely find more than one way to measure your progress. Best wishes hun.

My thought on fat: Fat is Fluffy --Muscle is solid-- that's why muscle weighs more.[emoji3]Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

I need to stress that percentage is such a better indicator. I had low BMI and am 44 and so less to loss and I think as we age we lose slower. But I too get scared that I am done and will not lose anymore weight I have lost maybe 6 to 7 pounds my second month and most of that toward the beginning-of month . So yeah 19 in two months is nothing. But in percentage it makes more sense. That said I really want to start losing

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
