My sleeve is scheduled for 5/7! So excited and nervous! I’ve been a longtime lurker on this site and now that I’ve got my date it doesn’t feel real!

2 hours until my surgery... wish me luck!

Best wishes!!!!

I had my gastric sleeve done on Wednesday and I feel fantastic. I had no idea how I would feel afterwards, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have had no problem with my liquids. Now I just need to find some good recipes to experiment with different liquids for these first 2 weeks.

You can look into Torani sugar free syrups to add to your RTD protein drinks. It will help.

I’m 2 days away and I’m so ready. I’m just worried as I gotta travel and go back to work only 6 days post op... anyone did the same? Went back to work in 6-7 days post op?
Anyone have problems with spams in their stomach post op? If so what makes them stop????

Yes!!! They are terrible!! I’m less than two weeks post op and am in the “soft food” stage. It seems to happen when I eat something that isn’t super soft like cottage cheese or scrambled eggs. Our doctor told us that the stomach works to grind food so that’s my best guess.
