  12. I dunno... as an atheist I can’t see why prayers would offend you. To you they’re just well wishes. To the believe they’re prayer. Can’t imagine being offended by someone wishing me well.
  13. Exactly 7 days post op SW: 215.4 DAY OF: 203 Yesterday: 192.1
  14. In the same vein—my surgeon did 3 surgeries on the day he did mine; he told me that I was the only one who seemed to have been compliant for my preop diet. One of his patients had visible fajita tacos still in her stomach, and the other had evidence of a large meal the night before. It’s really hard but I watched a lot of my 600lb life and ate my weight in sugar free jello and broth. You have time to recover from this and 6 days of “doing it right” can and will make a difference. I’m 7 days post op and on a bachelorette trip about to dance the night away again like I did last night. You can do it I PROMISE.
  15. I have several walk in clinics that do blood work nearby and they are super inexpensive. I get an “executive woman’s profile” every 6 months or so just for grins and spend ~$35. Surely there must be similar lab services near you? Regardless, I would not be back to that doctor that’s ridiculously unreasonable.
  16. 5’5” and 203 on surgery day. 4 days post op and 196. I’m apparently the biggest wuss of all time so if I need plastics I’m just gonna go on needing plastics cause that’s gonna be my last elective surgery ?

  18. 4-6 hrs till mine! Good luck!
  19. well now I'm stressed. mine's Friday and I have, a case of premier and some protein water. whoops!
  20. I've finally gotten my new surgery date THIS Friday 5/25! So, I'm super excited and nervous. I've been distracting myself with daydreams about where I can be in 4, 8, 12 weeks and beyond. I'm 5'5" and as of this morning 203.9, my first goal is my wedding weight of 185, second goal is my lowest weight as an adult of 160, and my "oh my god no way I'll ever reach this" ultimate dream goal (that would allow for a 5-10 pound maintenance cushion) is 130. Truth be told if I hit 150 and can't get any lower I'll still be thrilled. Anyone want to help set some dates to aim for with these goals? I have no idea what to expect but I'm a planning addict and want to have some concrete things to aim for.
  21. 5’5” BMI 33 getting sleeved Thursday or Friday waiting for final word (I was originally scheduled for 5/16 and had to postpone) good luck to you I’m hoping to make it through without loose skin (I’m a size 12 so I’m really hopeful)

  25. Super interested to hear any responses you get on this. I’m likely to be about 200-205 on surgery day (I’m 211 now and 9 days out and I’ve been dropping pretty steadily with liquids only) my main motivation in pursuing WLS has been to start a family. I was told 18 months but that sounds SO long but I’m willing to do what it takes to have a healthy pregnancy. My ultimate goal would be 130-140 so we have the same weight loss goal. Good luck to you!
  26. I’m on the 16th started my liquid diet but nearly lost it so I just started crunching on a bag of shredded lettuce (that’s mostly water isn’t it?)
  27. HW: 215 CW: 213 SW: we’ll see on May 16!! Wishing you well!
