  1. I only regret not doing it sooner!

I’m doing very well! I am down 57 lbs since April, and feeling pretty good, I still have days where my energy levels aren’t the best, and certain foods don’t agree with me, but in the grand scheme I am doing well. How are you?
  3. Controvento, definitely use G2 it helps replenish those electrolytes and keeps you from feeling so light headed.
  4. Great job Kay! Seems like everything is going well, I am proud of you friend! The weight loss will come!
  5. Yeah 2 of 10.... it’s raining here for the next 10 days so getting outside and going anywhere is like out of the question... sucks... when was your surgery?
  6. How are you doing with the walking?? I live in NJ and just my luck the next 10 days are almost all rain... so getting steps in are really hard for me plus I have felt out of it... Just had a break in the weather so I took advantage of it want did a 23 minute walk.
  7. Christ now I’m freaked the hell lol, I haven’t been getting much walking in, I’ve been so out of it... I had better set alarms...
  8. I feel your pain Ally I was thinking the same thing, like what have I done to myself. However I’m trying my best to keep the one day at a time mentality and hope it serves me well.
  9. Yes currently I am on my second injection out of 10.. can’t wait until the clot risk is over... that’s what is freaking me the hell out
  10. I haven’t had much in pain as far as headaches go, I was super strict cutting out sugars and caffeine prior, plus I haven’t taken the prescribed pain meds, they made me feel way too shaky and off... I’ve just been taking Tylenol. My abdominal pain is bearable but hard to move like normal which is understandable. One day at a time, I’m hoping it becomes easier.
  11. Sleeved on 5/14... this is my first ever surgery so I am really not sure how well I am doing, although I still have pain, but not excruciating just uncomfortable.... I’m hoping this subsides within a few more days as I adjust and heal!
  12. I also have to give myself Lovenox injections for blood clots for the next ten days. Do you? But I took a Tylenol capsule today even tho I was scared I wouldn’t be able to get it down, however I managed. Delaudid is not my friend... makes my legs so shaky I can hardly stand.
  13. Came home from the hospital last night, in a decent amount of pain, and completely overwhelmed and wiped out from all of the changes and medications I was on. Today seems to be a little better so far, just can’t wait to heal up fully.
  14. Best of luck friends! I’m headed over to the hopstital soon!
  15. I want to wish all of the Mothers on here, a very happy and healthy Mother’s Day! You deserve this day as well as many many more! Thank you for all that you do Day in and day out! Enjoy! Justin

  20. Does anyone know what the percentage of sleeve patients are that end up going back for gastric bypass surgery? And why does this occur? Is it because they had stretched the new sleeve or other reasons? Thanks guys!
  21. You are doing great, day by day... On the bright side you will totally crush it post op, since the pre op has been so strict!
  22. you arent allowed one meal for dinner with lean meat and veggies? That has got to be hard!
  23. I think we will do just fine! I know it’s going to have its ups and downs, but if we do what we are told and have a strong will, it will be a recipe for success
  24. Shrimp Cocktail has been a life saver for me so far lol
  25. The RNY seemed too much for me... I don’t know I just feel more comfortable with the sleeve...
