  1. Hello, I was just diagnosed with SVT a cardiac arrhythmia 2 days ago. Anyone have this condition and getting sleeve surgery? One had this 1 episode in 42 years. My electro physicists cleared me for surgery and says it's perfectly safe. Anyone can relate here???
  2. Thank you so much for the time you took to encourage all of us here! ?? Words of wisdom!!!
  3. I should remind myself this everyday. Wish me luck ??
  4. Hello everyone! I start my countdown (liquid diet) today for my surgery May 2nd. The truth is that I was scheduled to start yesterday but the though of having 1 last big meal overpowered me and I gave in. I didn't eat a huge portion, in fact I only consumed about 1/4 of my plate. (Had a small piece of lasagna and small piece of chicken parm) So now I am left with 13 days and just need to get it right. I am planning on having my 3 protein shakes worth 90 grams of protein, 1 bar, and a small plate of veggies. What is everyone else having???
  5. Awesome!!!!! Good luck to you as well!!!! My email is Storgean@gmail.com if you need any advice or have any questions, I am here for you ?
  6. Please email me at storgean@gmail.com I will then give you my phone number. We can talk about this tomorrow and trust me that you will feel better. Sounds like you want to stop the poor eating habits and you will. It's not too late but you must reach out. Looking forward to hearing from you. ??
  7. Do not let anyone or anything distract you! This is for you, and unfortunately some people either don't get it or are just insecure of the amazing transformation that's about to happen. Do not change your mind or opinion about this. What you are about to do is transform your life to a healthy life. You will feel amazing! You will look amazing! You will be able to do all the things you weren't able to do before! Its SO worth it! Trust in your surgeon that you are in great hands. They have done thousands of these procedures and can do them with their eyes ? closed. Hope I am not being too forceful here but I've seen what this surgery has done for my sister who was hopeless a year ago and 2 of my friends who had it done recently. Keep your head up high, stay focused and let others know that their anxiety is not needed right now. Best of luck to you all! My surgery is May 2nd and I couldn't possible be any more excited. ??
  8. Sure can!!! Team May rules!!! I'm May 2nd and super excited and ready ??
  9. Ofcourse you can!!! I'm May 2nd too!!!! Welcome ??
  10. OMG!!! 1 day apart!!!! You can also email me for my phone number if you want to keep in touch and just be sleeve buddy's! Storgean@gmail.com
  11. Thank you so much for posting this!!! You would just need to add VitB12 and calcium to this. I believe that according to bariatric standards the B12 in these isn't enough.
  12. I just had my band removed in Nov. Scheduled for sleeve on May 2nd! Removing band was so easy. Was driving day 2 with little pain. Glad my surgeon didn't want to do it all in 1 Surgery!
  13. Just relax. If you meet all the requirements and the most important is having a BMI of 40, YOU ARE ALL SET!!! You will get approved!
  14. Unjury makes a great chewable that's 1tab a day. You're probably getting nauseous because it's too much for your stomach. You should get a pill cutter and cut the chewable in 4 parts. Take throughout the day with food. This way you're not overloading your stomach with a huge tablet and your body is absorbing smaller amounts at each intake.
  15. Hey! No need! You won't be scared when you step on that scale and at a healthy weight! You won't be scared when you're physically able to do things with your kids you weren't able to do because of your weight! You won't be scared when you're in the BEST SHAPE AND HEALTH! Trust me you won't be scared then!!! As for now, calm down, don't think too much about it. It's really not that bad! I know many people who have done it and just report soreness like there done 1000 sit-ups. Keep your head high and you will be just fine! Btw I removed my band in Nov and have my Sleeve scheduled for May 2nd!
  16. So close!!! I am in NY and my date is May 2nd!!! Let's keep intouch!!!
  17. Hello! I'm from New York and MY surgery date is May 2nd!!!!
  18. Hello! I am from NY scheduled for May 2nd!!! You look fantastic! Love how your surgeon uses heart shaped gauze!!! keeo up the good work and thanks for sharing with us!!!
  19. Don't be discouraged at all. Most insurances are 6 month and do this to discourage people from the process because they don't want to pay. It'll be worth the wait!
