  1. Hi everyone! I started at 332-336lbs before preop. I lost 20+lbs before the preop diet actually gained weight with the preop diet. At the time of surgery I weighted 311 or 314. Anesthesia memory! I was sleeved on May 22. I now weigh 295.2 lbs. my lowest weight drop has been .2 lb but hey it’s still a drop. My energy level is still in the toilet. I had a revision from the band to the sleeve. I lost weight fast with the band at the beginning but having the band slowed my metabolism incredibly low. I am working with a doctor to speed it up and not let the sleeve to the same thing. Most of my co workers noticed my 20+lbs weight loss. My mom who lives in another state did not. I have also had people comment about my weight loss since the surgery. I am smaller at the top and large at the bottom and when I lose weight it always starts at the top. Good luck everyone!!!!
  2. I am 1 month out from surgery. I lost about 18lbs in the first 2 weeks. Then for alomst 2 weeks i lost and regained the same 2 lbs. Once I was released to exercise harder I lost 3 or 4 lbs in 2 or 4 days. Now I have gained 6lbs in a week whats going on? I started my period. Is it possible, its water weight?
  3. I am still pre op but I do wonder if my ankles, feet, and legs will stop swelling. I can put on 10lbs during the day from swelling. I have to buy extra extra wide shoes to accommadate the swelling. I hope I will have ankles again.:cursing:
  4. Congratulations to all! My surgery date is September 14. I am excited, nervous and ready to get it over with at the same time. I am ready to close this door of my life and afraid to open the next but ready. Good luck to you all.
  5. Congratulations and Good luck on your approval. My surgical date is also September 14. I was approved about 2 months ago but my surgeon was booked up until then. I won't do my second surgical consult with the doctor or the get the presurgical diet from the nutritionist until the last week in August. I hope you keep in touch.
  6. I am pre lap band surgery. I asked my boyfriend for support when I decided to take this step in my life. He stated he was afraid I would change. That the attention who overwhelm and change me. I believed that my outside did not shape my inside, but your letter sounds exactly like what he said. No one ever talks about the bad changes you could experience and not being ready for the different light in which the world will view you. I hope that things are going well for you now. I hope there is someone in your life who can help keep you grounded and enjoy all the your blessings. I hope, I am able to keep in contact with you. Maybe you helping to keep someone else grounded will help you continue to heal.
