Well, I like long walks on the beaches, 60s tunes, great movies, and laughing with friends and family. I like candlelight dinners and cooking/entertaining and having long deep conversations in bed as I drift off to sleep. [emoji3]
Oh...maybe you didn't mean it that way. LOL.

LMAO

I like traveling and have been to the UK 3 times in the last 3 years, to Niagra, Cali, etc. I want to get back into creative things after 3 decades of doing only Mom things.

I was reading one day about how people shouldn't feed them peanuts because they're high in calories and not particularly nutritious for them. Yet EVERYONE and their mom feeds them peanuts lol. I've given them goldfish but they basically give me the squirrel finger when I hand them grapes and stuff [emoji23]

I mostly work, and when not at work or doing work emails or txts, I hang out with my significant other, who I love.

I have just bought a ne Motorcycle - a Triumph Bonneville, as being lighter and fitter makes me stronger for long road trips, which my other bike, a Royal Enfield 500cc single, is too small for.

And, most importantly for my sanity, being not obese again means a resumption of Scuba diving, which is an utter joyful passion that I get to indulge in just a few times a year - and legitimatises my reading “scuba porn” magazines about diving and fish and dive gear all the rest of the year!

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
