Has anyone here had RNY and had incisional hernias? I am thinking about getting RNY wls but am concerned about the hernia repair that I’ll need. The hernias resulted from a previous surgery that I had. I really want to have surgery, but my insurance doesn’t cover it, but it will cover the hernias and I was thinking that I could get both done at the same time to save on the costs, just don’t know how complicated it will be. I have my first appointments with the surgeon next week.

If your hernia requires mesh surgeons don't like to do bariatric surgery with it because of risk of contamination.

However if you have stones in your gallbladder... That's pretty common and could work.
