Not feeling good

Recommended Posts

I had my gastric bypass done on Nov 17. I still am always tired. I’m also dizzy a lot. It may be not enough liquid but I don’t think so. Any ideas? Anybody Thanks

Have you kept track of how much you are taking in: Fluids and Protein. It really helps to write everything down, so then you will see where you are at. Sorry this is going on. When I got dizzy and had heart palpataions it was because I was dehydrated. I thought I was ok with it but I found out I wasn't. KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!!

Have you been taking your Vitamins? Get your blood work done if you can. Just to make sure you don't have a Vitamin deficiency.

Also the dizziness can be a blood pressure issue always better just to put in a call to your Dr.

Have you had any previous issues with blood sugar prior to surgery (ie. insulin resistance)? I'm having a lot of problems with low blood sugar since my surgery in the fall and that can certainly make you feel dizzy and tired...

I haven't had WLS yet but I know that if my Iron is low I get dizzy and get weird palpitations. Def have your iron levels checked.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
