Stats first:

HW 427.4 (Jan. 2)

SW: 413 (Feb. 15)

Last week: 353

Today: 353.2

So, up 0.2 since last week, but down 58.8 since surgery and 74.2 overall.

That 0.2 pounds is probably just a glitch, because I'm due for a "bad" week after having two decent ones in a row. Hair loss is ongoing and annoying. Boobs are shrinking, which is even MORE annoying. I have faith the hair will come back. The boobs, not so much. Not much else to report.

Okay its been a long 3 months Had my Surgery feb 20th, and for a while there I was stuck at 210lbs Didn't matter what I did. I forced the Protein in drank more Water and went for longer walks and IM FINALLY UNDER 200lbs!!! I haven't been under 200lbs in 10 years.

But here is why I'm really here today- is anyone else having the dreaded Hair loss? my hair is falling out and breaking worse then a golden retriever in sheading season. I've been taking Biotin even prior to surgery. but my hair has become soo thin.

Ticks and trips that work? things you've read online? or am I rocking a ponytail for the rest of my days to come?

You can buy the collagen peptides. Unflavored. 10 grams Protein plus so much collagen which helps rebuild hair skin and nails there are a couple of different companies. Just make sure it has 10 gram of protein or more. I bought mine from Amazon.

Hey February family, my check in
HW 365
SW 325
CW 263

gbypass date 2/12/18

Everything seems to be going good. I’m grateful for all of you being here and sharing your experiences. I really feel so much better physically, walking stairs with no pain, sleeping better and so much energy. If there is a downside, I have problems with eating chicken. It doesn’t matter how it’s cooked, it has to be chopped into tiny bites before I chew it to paste, and then sometimes it still gets stuck on its way down. I don’t seem to have that problem with any other Protein. That being said, I really don’t have cravings or feel hungry yet. I fuel my body with protein and veggies and a piece of fruit a day. Have gone low carb, after figuring out that when I eat carbs, my joints become inflamed and I retain Fluid.< /p>

Hello, friends!

I made it to Onederland!!!! First time probably since I got married 14 years ago. It feels great to buy smaller clothes.

Eating is going ok. I really need to get back to using my Baritastic app to track my food. Some days I feel like I'm eating too much, other days I forget to eat. Ugh!

My hair is falling out like crazy. Wahhhhhh! I'm using Nioxin Shampoo and taking 10K of Biotin a day. Oh well, it will grow back.

Went out for sushi with my husband last weekend, and asked for options without rice. There were two rolls on the menu without rice already! It was fabulous! Sometimes you think life is over because of all the foods you can't have, but times like this make me happy :)

We were talking about life and social events revolving around food--and people noticing that you're not eating. So true. I said I feel like I get noticed more for not drinking alcohol. How about you guys?

Another crap-tastic week, blah. hair falling out rapidly but so far isn't noticeable visibly (amazingly, considering how thin my hair already was). Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I was down to 350 the other day but am back up to 353 today; trying not to get too frustrated with it.

Getting sick of most foods I eat, which is annoying. I'm a fairly picky eater, so my choices are already somewhat limited by that, let alone by what my stomach will tolerate and what I'm not tired of eating.

HW 427.4 (Jan. 2)

SW: 413 (Feb. 15)

Last week: 353

Today: 347.4

So down 5.6 since last week, 65.6 since surgery and an even 80 since my high weight in January!

Talk about a jump! Not sure what caused it, because this week I experimented with adding in Pasta and bread (no issues with either!), so I fully expected my weight to either stay the same or go up a little. Not that I'm complaining! (Except for about my Hair loss -- I'm always complaining about that!)

This week I hit the 17-week mark (Thursday) and the four-month mark (Friday). Since surgery, I'm averaging a loss of 3.86 pounds per week and 16.4 per month. IF I can stick to those averages permanently (which I know isn't realistic for a variety of reasons), I would hit my goal weight of 165 in mid-May to early June 2019 (which would be AMAZING as my own tentative/admittedly kind of lofty goal is to hit goal weight by 18 months from surgery, which would be Aug. 15, 2019.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
