What's on my menu for today?

Um, I had oatmeal with sultanas and cinnamon for Breakfast

Just had a corned beef and pickle sandwich and a yogurt for lunch

chicken chow mein for dinner tonight.

I will NOT eat between meals today! I've been shocking lately. Probably because if I can eat a sandwich and a yogurt all within an hour I probably need some fill. Not sure.

Enough advertising already. There are hundreds of Protein products on the market.

First off, though, have you been banded, or are you pre-band? What type of liquid diet are you on? We need a bit more information about what your needs are before giving advice...

Oh, sorry, you were asking about liquids, stupid me. Here I am just tempting you with things, lol.

When I was on liquids, I blended up real food. I didnt live on Protein shakes (although I had them then as I wasnt eating a lot of anything). but I made really good hearty Soups full of Pasta, meat, lentils and veg and I blended those up, I'd blend yogurt and fruit together with some bran in it too for a smoothie with some fibre, and for some carbs for energy. I even blended up my Christmas dinner with extra chicken stock!

I found liquids really easy and honestly, I lost tons of weight in that time, eating well didnt stop me losing.

I take my coffee in the morning mix it with a vanilla Protein drink and add lots of sugar free french vanilla coffee mate.

I use same Protein and add some canned peaches and peach yogurt and creamer.

I'm wanting something warm so I will puree some Soup and add some plain protein mix to that. I'll let you know how it works.

Careful with the coffee mate! It gives me the trots if I have more than a couple of servings in a day. sugar free or regular versions both do this to me. ;)

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
