DS post op day 2

Omg so I'm on day 2 and I'm so frustrated the pain management was hell on the first day for me but by the evening they got it down for me. Just want to be able to sleep in my own bed. Day 2 still at the hospital but now I'm doing clear fluids...never thought drinking 1oz of Fluid would take so long lol. Great experience over all just wanted to fuss a lil.

Congratulations on your surgery. I remember being in the hospital wishing only to sleep in my own bed again.

I found that taking as deep a breath as you can, and then holding it for a moment before exhaling helped with pain and helped clear the bloating / gas build up from the surgery quickly. Might help you out as well!
