Stalls are such jerks!

  • Popular Post

I’m stuck in a slump. I didn’t have the dreaded three week stall but now at 8.5 weeks I’ve been stuck between 199-198. Since I started hitting the gym on September 22nd, since then nothing. And by hitting the gym I just mean treadmill/elliptical 45 min a day. I do see via pictures that things have changed since my heaviest I just wish the scale would “poo or get off the pot” [emoji23]

Stalls are just jerks!

OK...I too have experienced this stall after doing something similar at the gym. My nutrionist suggested alternating weight training and it worked. Example: I "gym" 6 days a week Monday, W

In the first three months I had kick ass weight loss then at the end of 3 months things really slow down and I thought I was stuck. The scale just wouldn't budge no matter what! Right about that time I also twisted my ankle and fell so I couldn't go to the gym for 2 weeks. I was freaked out because I thought two weeks without the gym would even make things worse.

However, after a two to three-week so-called stall, or no weight loss, then two weeks of not being able to go to the gym I lost 8 pounds! I think not going to the gym 6 days a week and pushing like crazy was the key. So now I'm down 10 pounds!

At 4 weeks yesterday I have lost a little over 60 lb and am 10 lbs from goal! I think I'm going to lower my goal weight now that I'm so close to it.

I definitely could handle losing another 15 lb instead of 10. I was fortunate that I did not have hundreds of pounds to lose so I'm getting to go very quickly.

I'm thrilled with the process so far. I'm still having trouble getting all my food in. I haven't been able to eat as many meals per day as I would like to. And I am getting nauseous still after I eat.

I know it takes time and I am patient and have all the time in the world!

I'm almost 3 months out and about 8 week mark I stalled for 2 weeks! I always lose the least the week of my period. I didn't understand how bad it sucks until it happened to me. I know I get on the scale way too much.

That makes so much sense. I’m going to have to start tracking this. Thank you!
