Ok how are you guys getting your second ticker???? I have tried 2xs and failed.

Carrot you asked what kind of goals I think whatever works for you. If getting more exercise is your thing -do it. If seeing the lbs come off works to motivate someone perfect. Its our world to shape it as we want right now. I think its a matter of choice just as long as we have something to measure results. Some people need shorter goals (like me) others like the long term. Either way your moving your losing something be it weight, inches or both.

I like the exercise ticker too but I'm more into the lbs b/c I have no choice but to move my butt every day my dogs do not walk themselves. I can't wait to get back on my Pilates machine but doc said no go until 5 weeks b/c of the stretching.

I want to be down 25 post-surgery by November 25th. I was down 13 last Monday.

I know what you mean Carrot...I live in Rain-Country. Who wants to walk in the rain today? Not me. But alas, I have to get my butt out there for an hour today and brave through the storm. I wonder if I get extra points for getting soaked?

Ok how are you guys getting your second ticker???? I have tried 2xs and failed.

Step 1. Make your goal ticker.

Step 2 Copy the img for the goal ticker ex: exercise.png

Step 3. Go to your signature and edit signature

Step 4 In the signature area where you can edit the text and put smilies just paste the img where you want it to go. The trick is that you can only have 10 lines. So you may have to reduce spaces.

Good luck!

Don't even try to count rain drops sweetcheecks!

Well it does make your clothes heavier which in turn makes you work harder.........

I don't have a dog anymore. She passed 3 years now. But a dog would certainly make you walk. If I didn't travel so much, I'd love another. Golden retrievers are the dogs for me!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
