B12 Deficiency

Hi Everyone, I have a B12 Deficiency and I have been taking B12 supplements. A Doctor, who is a friend of mine is recommending I switch over to an IM B12 injection. Can anyone tell me what other form of therapies they recommend instead of the IM B12 injections?

I have the injections and I am happy with them. Before finding out I had injections the dietitian said to use the spray twice a day to the tongue. In the bariatricPal shop they also have patches. I like the injections I have one every three months. Depending on blood results sometimes go monthly for a while.
