Vitamin suggestion I hate chalk tasting stuff

Recommended Posts

I'm just getting started and my team suggested I should start taking Vitamins now but I'm afraid of buying them and disliking the taste. Its all I could do in the past to chew a tum no matter the flavor as the texture was like chalk. Is that what the chewables are like too? What's your favorite? Or should I try liquid and what options are there. So much out there I feel overwhelmed.

sublingual is the way to go ... i.e. melt under the tongue.

Blackmore's Vitamins come in a style called "Rapi-Melts". They melt in less than ten seconds under your warm wet tongue.

I'm trying the Patches right now, easy to use but expensive as crap, will probably go back to pills.

Celebrate has a capsule Vitamin, which you could open them and sprinkle them in something you are eating. When I first had my RNY I was told to use Centrum chewables. They are fruit flavored and kind of reminded me of a gumball. I had to change Vitamins because they tasted too sweet to me, hubby loved them. Different strokes for different people I guess. My Surgeon was the one that told me to use the capsules sprinkled on something that I was eating.

I love that idea of sprinkling into the food I'm eating I'll see about that thanks so much for the info!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
