Anyone Else 5'1-5'2"??

Recommended Posts

I'm 5 feet even. At 218 lbs I was wearing a size 18. At 148 lbs I'm wearing a size 12. Actually some size 12 clothes are too big, so I'm pretty close to fitting into 10s. My goal is get to 118 lbs and I should be a size 6 at that weight.

I'm 5'2"......192 lbs....wear 18/20 (L, XL)....I'm still so big thru the waist that it puts me up a size....makes the legs/butt of my pants too big. But I didn't ask for perfection.....just to be smaller. It's still frustrating going shopping, but at least I can find something that goes all the way around me.....that's an improvement!!

Donna- I was fluctuating between 201 and 206. NOw, it's 201 and 203, I guess in a weird way that is a gain but what to do to get that 4 off........rrrrr. Maybe liquids for me!

5' 2-1/2" (That 1/2" is still important to me :Banane35:) At heaviest 254 a size 24 was extremely tight (picture leaning backwards on bed to get button on then much jumping up and down to get the zipper closed. A couple weeks ago at 165 (Pre-Tummy Tuck) I was a size 10. I'm post-op now but can't tell you what effect it will have on my sizing yet as the swelling is still atrocious and with the drains still in I can't wear anything but my pj's & sweats at the moment. The doc seems to think it will bring me down to around 155 and a size 6 though. Seems pretty heavy to me for that weight but then I still have pretty hefty thighs, arms and a size Holy "F" chest.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
