Hey everyone. I was wondering what all you were eating? I find myself eating a lot of eggs, turkey sausage, and taco meat with cheese on it, chicken and so on. Sometimes potatoes. Are these things okay? I get so worried because I just want to get to my goal. I am not sure about this feeling I've been having I am just unsure. Thank you so much.

I have 8 lbs more to go to meet my required weight loss.

I am NO expert. I try to steer away from red meat, and I don't eat ordinary cheese (cheddar cheese etc).

I've been sticking with tuna, grilled chicken, turkey, cottage cheese, yogurt, egg whites, and lots of vetgetables.

From what I understand, you should stay away from potatoes and breads and fats.

Have you met with a dietician yet? I meet mine in about 10 days.

I'm still at the liquids stage, but I do have a question or two: Did your nutritionist give you a list? Are you tracking what and how much you're eating, keeping track of Protein, calories, carbs, fats? You can do this pretty easily with an application such as MyFitnessPal.com, and that may give you some ease about what you are doing. I know I feel stuffed right now and I'm basically having my second Protein Shake of the day . . . so can't trust my feelings about what's actually going on.

Good luck!

Yeah! I have met with a dietician- she said that if my sleeve could handle it well I can eat red meat. And it's my favorite thing to eat. And I was also told potatoes were okay as long as it was every now and again and without gravy. I don't know, that's why I am confused because I get all of these different responses. How far out are you? Thank you :)

Yes she did. And I meet my protein goal for the day and have under 20 carbs a day/ and she never really taught me what is good fat / bad fat or how much to track. I use my fitness pal- but I eat the same thing every day so I know how much protein and whatnot is in it. And how are you doing? I know the liquid stage was awful!

I'm doing okay--surprised I didn't have more pain and that I've had no trouble, really, swallowing pills. My biggest issue so far is getting enough Water in. I feel like I'm drinking constantly, yet I don't actually put that much away. Today so far I've only had about 16 ounces plus the two Protein Shakes. Not nearly enough. Day isn't over yet, of course, but . . ..

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
