I'm having a hard time losing weight in my arms and back fat. Does anyone have recommendations for certain exercises? I really hate my arms right now and feel like i'm losing everywhere but my arms.

I do internet searches for those exercises. I use 2 lb weights and do circles and things with my arms as I'm walking, follow a lot of the arm exercises as I run on the treadmill as well.

Exercise does not make you lose fat.

If you exercise, you may be able to increase muscle in the targeted area, but it has no impact on the fat being stored in that area.

Just keep losing, eventually your body has to burn the fat, even in the hard places. Just keep going it, comes off. No spot exercising is going to help. Cardio to burn more calories overall will, or just increasing muscle mass to burn more calories

You have to eat a proper diet with protien to increase your muscle mass. If your definitely wanting to target fat loss...look into a the ketosis lifestyle where you switch your body from burning the normal sugar and carbs as fuel and start burning fat...even stubborn fat. It Works!!! Especially when you've hit a plateau.
This link might help you also speak with your Dr or Nut about it.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
