I'm 32 years old and my starting weight was at 380lbs in April 2017 and lost down to 317lbs on the day of surgery as of now I'm 300lbs I'm just looking for any advice that you all have that might get me through this 3rd week stall that I keep reading about thanks everyone.

Stay consist with your diet, make sure you are getting in the proper amount of Water per day. I know right now getting in fluids especially water can be a struggle but you have to. And make sure you are walking. I can not stress enough how important walking right now will be for you. Come with the knowledge that your body will stall from time to time but as long as you keep doing the things your doctor has outlined for you, that you will keep losing weight. And some weeks the loss gains will be better than other weeks.

Congratulations on your loss so far. I would say to follow the rules you were given. That is so important. Also if you have access to a nutritionist who specializes in bariatrics, that can be very helpful. I have seen mine for over 15 months and consider her to be a huge help and motivator. I would also read and start planning your phases so you move through them with ease and confidence. You are just beginning there is so much to learn and a lot of work to do. But this time you have a new powerful tool. You can do this.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
