It is common. However it happens to people differently. Some people stall every other week, some get the stall 3-weeks straight and Some get a stall week once a month. Myself, I have a really good week, then a okay week, then a bleh week and then nothing.

I am 3 months post op.

Yes it's a definitely common thing to have i got stall in my 11th day after surgery it stayed for 2 week but thank god now im back on losing weight

You need to drink a lot of Water

For me the thing that broke my stall is drinking 3 Oranges in the morning

But it might be bad for someone who can't tolerate sour things

If you want my advice DON'T stand on a scale hhhhhh i broke in tears a few times [emoji23] [emoji23]

I KNOW it would break me if I don't lose! I am not going to weigh. I also DON'T drink enough. Did you squeeze 3 oranges a day to help? Also, how long was it until you were "regular" again? Maybe that would help me

Yes i squeezed 3 Oranges every morning to drink it's great way to lose weight and at the same time help me with fluids
In my 4th week the doctor allowed me to eat regular but it's definitely a very small amount
Today is my 6 weeks but still have difficulty with rice and bread but i eat Pasta and everything else
For the Water i suggest you to have a sip every 10 min
And don't worry even if you feel that your not getting any water down just don't pressure your stomach step by step you will be in track to healthy way [emoji256] [emoji256]
Best of luck [emoji4]

I've been eating regular food since 6days post op. No puree stage or anything. He doesn't do that. I've tried eggs, turkey, chicken, ground beef, crab, cheese, high Fiber Cereal. I have been ok with most. I didn't know we can have pasta or bread. He did finaly tell me that I can have low carb bread, but I'm afraid to try. I can drink gulps of water, it's just hard because I don't WANT it. I have never been a big drinker.

My doc is a bit old school about the food and also because I had complications in my surgery so i had to take it easy and also i can eat pasta but its the whole wheat one and it has to be very well done to be able to digest sure it's going to be in small amount
For the water after the surgery i couldn't drink water i was like you not a water drinker [emoji23][emoji23] but i flavor the water with fruit so i can drink them and also watermelon and cucumber worked miracle for hydration

People keep telling me to try watermelon, I'm a little apprehensive because it gave me heartburn pre-op. I loved lemonade right after surgery, I just tried some and hate it. I just don't know whats wrong with me. I feel like I'm in the "buyers remorse" stage. Am I EVER going to feel "normal" again? Amd I EVER going to be able to eat and not be nauseaus again? Am I EVER going to stop HATING the very thoughts of eating or drinking???

The things that give you uncomfortable feeling stay away from them the lemonade for the first 3 month i don't recommend it it's a little bit tiresome for the stomach try to put some of flavor that I'm going to show you now my doc told me to use them when i want to drink juices but i put (1 envelope in 3 liter of water)
And DON'T WORRY it's just for the time being that you hate food and the nauseaus feeling it's common in every operations some it take them times to get over it for me it was only for 3 weeks
I couldn't stand the smell of food or juice I've been in bad shape for these 3 weeks now it's just a dream don't worry you'll get there have a smile you did the hard thing which is the operation now it's just a small things to get back on track [emoji4] [emoji256]

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
