Life is too short and we need to be happy and be blessed!!!

Agreed!!! My husband says "don't be so serious!" to me a lot. I'm learning to let go and just let things slide. On the other hand, one of us has to have things in order at times too, and it isn't him. LOL :)

Thanks for your words! Its great to hear and be encouraged. Thank you again.

So I switched Vitamins again. I still have a good few weeks left of the Bariatric Advantage pills. They're starting to make me feel very very nauseous. I bought a liquid Vitamin this time. It doesn't taste too bad and seems to be fine for now. It seems as if the longer I am out, the less I am able to tolerate the vitamins. I've had to switch a few times. I'm almost ready to just go to a Gummy. The only thing that's different with a sleeve is that the stomach is smaller. So, I don't know why we have to have such a huge amount of vitamins. I eat a pretty good variety of plants, so I'm not worried of nutrition. Maybe earlier on when we couldn't eat much of anything I suppose. I'm wondering if I'm getting too much vitamins????

Ugh...nevermind. Feeling oh so sick even with the liquid vitamins this morning! When will it ever stop? YUCK.

Believe it or not I switched to Flintstones complete chewable. I take 3 per day and I don't get nauseous. They are inexpensive and the best part I can handle them. I tried to switch to a pill form, but I kept chocking on it and they were awful 😔

I'm going to have to follow suit then. These Vitamins are expensive and it's really expensive not using them at all.

I will for sure. My dh is a regular foodie, so when ever I ask for a kitchen gadget he usually can't wait for me to have it...lol...

I can't wait to make Beans and especially chili. I found a recipe for red lentil chili that I am going to try soon.

Good morning. So, I went to the doc yesterday. I have a viral infection. I was given steroids to take for five days and a nose spray. I almost instantly felt a little better by yesterday evening. Today, I am staying out from work to be sure and will go back tomorrow. I decided that I am not going to just lay around, I feel so gross doing that all the time. So, I cleaned out my kid's room yesterday (like threw away so much stuff-they haven't noticed). I even did all the laundry too. It was peaceful in a quiet house and it was nice. Today, I'm going to go Christmas shopping and try to find something I would like to have for my birthday present. I will do my best to not wear myself out though, cause I woke up at a quarter till 5 this morning. Why? Don't know!!! LOL

I have to get back to the gym. I am feeling a bit jelly these days. After hurting my foot (for which I still haven't gotten x-rayed and it acts up every now and then) and then getting sick, I haven't been working out and I FEEL IT. Ugh. Probably also one of the factors of my weight staying at 200. I can't wait. Weights here I come!

I was just looking at chili recipes myself. I have a weight watchers black bean and beef chili recipe that I've been making for years. It's really low in fats (besides the beef) and I'm going to swap out that beef and replace it with lentils instead to see how it goes. I made a sweet potato chili not too long ago as well...it was sooooo good. I'll have to find the recipe and put it on the WFPB Recipe swap.

I am glad you were given some meds that are helping you to feel better. Being sick is no fun.

We will definitely have to swap chili recipes. :)

My husband took off work early to spend the day with me. I feel so much better and wanted to enjoy my last day of no working. So we went to the mall and I got my brows threaded. Lol. I always feel much better when they're groomed. Anyway, we walked and talked. Went in many stores. Went in to Victoria's Secret...no secrets there! Lol. Found out that I still do not fit the biggest bra size !!! But my band is significantly smaller, from 40 to 36. Yay!

Then we went in to Express and I fell in love with a jacket. Size Large. (They're sizes tend to run small). It slides on and I can zip it up, but it's pretty fitted. 😂 my husband says, "buy it and shrink in to it". Lol. I debated and decided to get it. It was $128 and I got it for $56. I can't wait to wear it! Here's a pic: sorry had to crop my beaming smile out, my daughter was in he pic and I try to not share my kids online (unless privately)

Pics can deceive! Lol. So I can wear it, but I feel like I'm wearing a corset. Lol

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
