Anyone have muscle cramps or spasms? When I stretch out my left foot my muscle lock up and I am getting a charle horse in the side of my ankle lower leg. It is so painful!, this just started tonight and the only way to make it stop is to get up and walk.

Are u getting in enough fluids?

I couldn't find the Cocotein, but I found some other flavors. I am impressed by the 40g of Protein. I can sip on this all day long. I am going to try it tomorrow.

I liked these drinks before surgery but couldn't stand them afterwards. What sucked is I had bought a case of them which I'm trying to give away. I hope you fare better.

Hey! Make sure you walk every so often.. in my pre-op class they explained that when bloodclots form you first start feeling a cramp by your calfs. Becareful! Xoxo

I'd say call your nut. It can be a sign of a lack of potassium. You'll need some kind of bananas/supplements. I've heard of banana tea...you boil a whole banana with the skin on and drink the Water. You'll get the nutrients that way, if you don't want to eat mashed bananas at this point. I'm sure there are other foods that can aid in getting potassium too.

But like @mishyk said, keep walking. We need you here hon. :)

Well good morning ya'll. I feel gross. I thought maybe 8 hours of sleep would make me feel way better after the bean episode last night. Nope. I'm feeling like I've got them stuck in my throat still. I'm going to hold off on them for a bit, along with anything else in its consistency. I've got my drinkable yogurts now. I'll add creamy Soups too; no chunks. Even though my plan allows for so much now, I think it much wiser to listen to my body. It's not ready.

It went away every time I got up to walk so I think it was just muscle cramping. I think if it was a blood clot the pain does not go away? I am going to really try for over 50 oz of Fluid today. I got to 48oz yesterday which I thought was good.

It seems better this morning. I am definitely walking, but a little less dista.nce since I got home. Yesterday was raining all day, but I did go to the grocery store, GNC, and cook Soup, etc... staying as active as I can. Thanks for the tip on the mashed bananas. I need to find some more coconut Water because it is a good source of potassium also.

Ok. So I got tired of just the tasting of things today. I didn't eat anything of substance at all. Mostly liquids. So, I heated up about 1/8 cup of refried black Beans with some low fat cheese. So delicious. But here's where I'm having to learn what my body is telling me. Feels stuck in my throat, no matter how well I chewed it down. I really want to drink some Water. I have this weird sensation in my belly. Kind of like when carbonated bubbles are bubbling up, I guess. I don't feel like I'm full or stuffed or anything. Content, which is what I am aiming for but I keep burping though, like I did when I was full of gas in the hospital.

I'm counting down to some liquid.

@Newme17 did it go down? I am hoping you will be o.k. Sometimes it's great to throw caution to the wind no pun intended.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
