Contemplating sleeve surgery. Any support group etc in the NYC or Long Island (Nassau County) area?

South Nassau Community Hospital has a support group which meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm.

O wow this is great! Do you know if it's open to everyone pre and post?

we have a group of Long Islanders on this board who get together every few months. Our next meet up is in early June.

I go to Winthrop Bariatric Group (I'm seeing Dr. Keneth Hall). They have support group meetings in Nassau County and Suffolk County (I live in Nassau and work in Suffolk).

Suffolk: 1st Thursday of the month (6-8 PM), 2nd Tuesday of the month (6-7 PM), and 3rd Thursday of the month (12:30 - 2 PM)
