You look awesome!! I went from 289.6 to 233.6 and am very flabby. But I am 70 years old. Surgery was October - so 6 months out. I FEEL marvelous but need a body girdle! Lol. I am happy just still not small

Congratulations! I do have excess skin but I do not want plastic surgery, I'm actually scared about the scars. I practice Brazilian JiuJitsu twice a week and have seen some improvements

This just encouraged me SO MUCH I am in my 4th week and I'm just ready for the weight to fall off but I know it takes time you look absolutely STUNNING

Hello Kiera!
Thank you so much for your awesome words! Keep doing what your doing and you will get there in no time! Throughout the process embrace all the changes and prepare yourself to start shopping in regular size clothing! This was a huge challenge for me due to me not remembering when was the last time I was at this weight. I still find myself going to the plus size section when I know that I have zero chance in fitting into them, it's all in my mind still! Take care love

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
