Vaginas and plastic surgery…Questions for the experienced…

Recommended Posts

I had my surgery in November 2015. I am down 150 pounds and have surpassed my initial goal weight by 12 pounds. I am now going for the blue ribbon, and attempting to lose another 18 pounds. This would bring me much lower than I ever thought I could physically get, and it will be time for plastic surgery.

Amazingly, for unrelated reasons, I just moved to Mexico. Of course, I will be doing a lot of research, but I always figured I would come to Mexico for plastics anyway.

I am almost 40 and I'm not trying to get the body of a 20-year-old girl who never had weight problems, but it is my intention to get the Fluer-de-lei Tummy Tuck and to have my breasts lifted.

My question is to those who have had these procedures, how does this affect the vaginal mound?

I do not want to have surgery on my labia or Clitoral area, but I do have extra skin above there that is not technically my stomach, but a fleshy mound that grew around my clit, and has now deflated. I do not want to have a tummy tuck that makes it look like my stomach and my vagina do not belong next to each other vertically.

Does anybody have any experience with this? Is it a separate procedure? I do not want to risk having any nerves severed around my clit or labia. I just want the top of my ***** to blend in with the bottom of my belly when the surgery is done.

A 'Mons lift' as it is called - Is normally done when they do your Tummy Tuck (Might be an idea to check that when you see your surgeon to make 100% sure that will happen in your surgery etc)

They just lift that area up whilst doing the tummy tuck - Search Mons lift and you will find out all the info you need :)

This picture was taken in Aug 2015 and my surgery was in 2010. - But nothing has changed and I am well over 40.....

I also had the Fleur de lis....

I got Tummy Tuck and it was done as part of it. I had extra skin and it looks so much better now. I would ask the surgeon when you go for consultation just to make sure.

Thank you all so much. That is such helpful information! Unfortunately the picture @scamps isn't showing, but I would certainly love to see it. How is the recovery ladies?

Does this one show?

My recovery was fine - I did not have the muscles touched due to a previous hernia surgery..

Yes and it looks fantastic! I've never seen results that nice that didn't involve the muscle tightening on the inside, which I wish I didn't need. I just didn't want to come out Square. You look great!

The reason why I could not have the mesh (He did try) was because of the hernia mesh I have in there. He tried but it would have left a horrid lump - So he did not - I have been very lucky that the mesh is obviously doing a pretty good job (Bar on one lower corner which hardly shows where I have asymmetry - But it is only a small bump)

I was told when I was choosing whether to have the inverted T or not - That if i did not - I might look 'boxy' And I am so glad I did - Even with the scars I have a great flat stomach and for the first time in my life to my memory - I am not fat or chubby or chunky in the belly.....

The muscle tightening will hurt, but it might be well worth it.....

Good luckkkkkk :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
