Hi Everyone! I want to share my success story with you. My greatest wish is that it will give those of you still waiting hope, encouragement and motivation in your own journey.

Date of sleeve surgery: Nov 24th 2015

Clinic: Red Deer AB, Canada

Surgeon: Dr Gregg

Highest weight 275lbs

Current weight: 142 pounds

Plastic surgery date: May 24th

Tummy Tuck with muscle repair, breast lift and augmentation, liposculpture to back, flanks and outer thighs and fat transfer to bum.

Place of surgery: Dominican Republic

Name of Surgeon: Dr Fernandez Goico

Complete cost of surgery, plus accommodation for 17 days, all meals, flights, meds, compression garment, transport, hotel, recovery house and spending money CAN$11,400.

The photos show my progress starting with the photo they took at my first appointment at the bariatric clinic to the last photos taken today! I'm taking a guess that you had some facial surgery also. You look so much younger

I did have a neck lift, jowls and upper eye lids done. I'm also way happier and of course weigh so much less now too [emoji4]

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
