Question about pain and recovery

Hello, I have a question about pain/recovery after sleeve. How long does it take for most people to return to work/school? Thanks!

I took off work for 6 weeks after my surgery. Pain wise, I felt better after about 2 weeks, but the fatigue was a real issue. I even struggled with the fatigue for the first 2 weeks after I went back to work. The time off allowed me to heal, but most importantly, devote myself full time to taking in protein and water and working through the post-op food stages. That really is a full-time job in those first few weeks post-op.

I have not had my surgery as of yet but if it is anything like my ankle, I should be fine. I am returning back to work after 7 days for now. If I need the additional time, my job is aware and have the FML forms ready just in case. I do not think I will need to use them as I got board after the first 4 days. I will keep you posted as my Surgery is March 26th.
