I'm 5'1" and the only short inseam that works for me is the Torrid EXTRA short... they are just perfect but of course super expensive. I'm going to have to look into these other options because I'm tired of walking holes in the bottom of my pants

I will check this out, but if they're expensive like you mentioned I'll just keep looking. LOL

I'm 5'2" and have had luck this time of year finding capri pants for work at JC Penney, around $30.

Just found some ankle length Rockstar jeans at old Navy on clearance for $15 a few days ago. And the Original jeans were on sale for 40%off. I went with the Rockstar cause they were cheaper. These are my first Jean purchase since way before surgery. (Nsv) my first 12s! I bought 2 and a size 10 to size down into. I haven't needed dress pants yet but i guess I'll cross that bridge when i get to it.

Oh and im 5'2 and the jeans are truly ankle length.

On a rare day, when the moon is full and the planets are all in alignment I can find that elusive beast. That 1 pair of size 18 W in JC Penny, Worthington brand, Short. They fit just perfectly on my 5'2" frame. If the elements favor me, I can find 2 pair on the same day in the same store but rarely in different colors.

Seriously though, JC Penny for work wear. They are budget friendly, last at least half a year and their short style is pretty good. If you have a rounder mid section, buy the 18 W. The regular 18 short are on the tight side.

My favorite invention is the fabric tape that you Iron on. I order it from Amazon by the bucketful. I use it to hem pants (I cut off the extra foot then fold and iron the hem and done)! I also use it with button down shirts so I don't get the boob gap. Love that stuff!

Nope. Still too long.

Really? I've 5'2" and the Old Navy Regular is perfect for me.

Some of their styles are meant to be short, though. The Harper & Pixie are ankle pants (look like 'flood pants' to me, lol)

Have you tried Fullbeauty.com? They have the gamut from cheapass to work-appropriate. They have a lot of capris right now. I'm 5'2" and I find Roaman's and Woman Within Petite Skinny jeans are a good length for me but the boot-cut ones are too long without heels. Their clearance prices are crazy cheap and if you join their mailing list they will bombard you with coupons. They have sizes 12-36. I would definitely look at the reviews before you buy, the quality is all over the place.

Good luck!

Yep. Really. I'm 5'2" with a 24 inch inseam. LOL. Even regular jean shorts fit like a cargo style.

have you tried Maurice's? i love their pants.... im 5'2" and the short fit me great. and their prices are good.

Now if money is no object... which is is for me (bf bought) i recently got two pairs from this store called Chico's.... their sizes are really strange .... but i love saying im a double zero.... hehe which is actually a 3-4. Now this are expensive... but i hear they do a good sale. they fit perfectly.....

I also do JCPenny's.... I use to do Kmart, but they closed down.

The stuff Travelher is talking about is Wonder Under hem tape. I sew and use to work in a fabric store.... it works great. you can buy at Hobby lobby, joanns even Walmart.

I have not tried Maurice's and there is one nearby, My inner chubster is taking steps away from the harbor that is Lane Bryant and Torrid. Thanks for the info.

Talbots Women's Petite...and then...you'll be small enough for the regular petites. They are on-line (some stores) and the quaity is very good. If $$ is a problem (for all of us, especially as we transition to smaller sizes) wait for their sales. Great capris.

I'm 4 ft. 10 in, and I find it's not the just length of the leg but also of the "rise", so petites just fit better.

Yes the struggle is real!! I am 5.4 and on a freinds advice I bought some jeans called MISS ME. They are so long!! Plus they are not cheap!! I guess my plan is to wear my boots and hope they stay tucked in. I don't have anyone to hem them. I have a sewing machain but I am so illiterate about sewing. I can't even figure outr how to get my bobbin full. LOL I never thought to buy Capris. Might check em out. Do you just buy the longer capris?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
