What's Your Goal Weight Gift to Yourself?

Recommended Posts

Plastic Surgery (Skin removal, Some lifts). But this is only if it is needed.

If not, I will be getting some tattoos covered.

They ARE addicting!!! Right!?

Lol. I know a few people who are addicted, but for me, not so much. I only have one. I appreciate others' tattoos, but I'm not really a big fan of needles. Also, my husband and I like to travel to Japan, and tattoos can be a bit of an issue there. In Japanese culture they are associated with the Yakuza (mafia), and there are many establishments that won't allow anyone with tattoos.

Absolutely. I hope I won't need too much or any plastics. We'll see what genetics does first, eh? But I'm pretty sure the boobs will need to be lifted. Heck, they need to be lifted now! ?

I don't have a goal weight gift. But when I get under 200. I'm going to buy myself a deathly hallows necklace. It's not big or expensive but it's something I've wanted for a while and wouldn't let myself get until I lost weight. Hopefully in 3-4 months. Surgery March 6th!

I'm not at my end goal, but I got my phoenix to Celebrate losing 100 lbs. I started the tat in January with the outline, and got the colouring done yesterday. I'm so in love with it! Not sure what my goal gift to myself will be yet. I don't know how to make the images just thumbnails, sorry!

That is a beautiful tattoo. From the ashes of our former selves, we rise to be whom we were meant to be. SUCH SYMBOLISM AND THOUGHT.

This is a big issue here in Japan, as tourist numbers keep rising. A lot of people have tattoos, and want to experience certain aspects of Japanese culture, like onsens, where tattoos are usually a no-go. The government is suggesting that these places allow tourists with tattoos in, but I don't like this concept since it discriminates against the average Japanese person who does have tattoos and is not yakuza. If you live here, there are other concerns, like using swimming pools. I don't really use either, but after I lose weight, I may want to more, so getting a tattoo will be a big decision as it will impact me a bit living here.

I was supposed to buy myself some diamond earrings for getting under 200 pounds, but I have been under 200 pounds for 2 months, and I still haven't done it. I am all shopped out after shopping constantly for 1.5 years.

Right now I am leaning towards a mantra Bracelet.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
