I have a question about waist sizes of pants sold in stores. Currently I can fit into a 30" waist in jeans (they are loose enough for me to pull them down without unbuttoning/unzipping them) and I have been looking for a size 28. Do they sell them in stores? I have been to a couple of stored but the smallest size they seem to have are 30s.

I just did a quick check on Amazon.com.... yes they do sell jeans in size 28 for men.. BTW great job!!!! You need to look for 'slim fit' jeans, verses straight leg or loose fit...

@@Redmaxx Yes men sizes normally go like.... 24, 26 28 30....etc. then the length.... My son (who is 6'3 and weights 170) wears a 28/32... my soon to be ex is 6'4" and weights 230-240 and wears a 36/34

JCPenny's , Dillards are great places to get your correct size..... are go to a mens shop like Men's warehouse

Congrats on the weight loss.

Note: Women are in two also.... 0, 2, 4, 6, 8....petite, average and tall..... Jr's are in odds... 1, 3, 5, 7... petite, average, tall.

Yeah, I was looking online and I can find them there. I guess the two stores I looked at must just not sell them in store.

Is that a question you thought you would ever ask?

Congrats.

Side story:

Years ago I was in San Francisco for business. I'd been needing new jeans and coincidentally SF was the world headquarters for Levi's. Problem solved, I thought. Their flagship store consisted of five floors of jeans: "Skinny", "Thin", "Matchstick", "Slim", "Narrow"... I asked where the more "relaxed" styles were. "Oh. umm... I think we still have some over here in the corner." I was led to a single rack with a scattered selection of sizes. Wasn't America largely overweight? Wasn't there an obesity epidemic? Where the hell were these "Matchstick" people? Where the hell were the clothes for the rest of us? I left the store empty handed, in shame and disbelief.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
