I have my date! It's approved!! I'm so scared. And pretty much alone in this. I wish I had someone to just... to chat with. I have no one to count on.. I'm on my own for this journey.

Anyway.. if anyone wants to just chat! I'm 25, Female, weigh 320lbs.

Me too! First I was so looking into Premier Protein shake.. But they strongly recommend powder. Therefore, I'm going for Isopure. But I'm scared too. I have kids ????

Doing great! I go to my 3 month follow up on Tuesday. I am down 40 lbs. I started at 257 and down to 216. I got sleeved 10/21/16. How are you doing

That's great! Can't wait to see at least 10 drop ????... But I am honestly nervous now. I've been watching "my 600 pound life" on TLC and it gets me anxious

I have been watching that too and the ones that get me are the ones that don't do anything with it! I was so nervous and my surgery date got changed a lot!

Yes! I thought of changing it honestly... But I want to get it over and start my journey. The 2nd episode scared the hell out of me... When one of the twins almost died ????

I watched that one too! And it made me cry! But I think as long as your Dr knows you well enough everything should go good. I have a whole bunch of tests done because I have a lot of heart problems. Everything went quick with no problems at all. I healed great. I have been able to eat alright. I didn't use any pain meds at all or anything.

Wow! That's good. I cried as well... But I want to be like you were with very minimal pain. I have this huge fear of what can go wrong... I'm so glad you had no complications ????????

I have a stupid high pain tolerance. I had a c section almost 6 years ago and didn't have any pain meds with that either. I also read a lot of books before getting sleeved. So it helped calm my nerves a little bit

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
