I feel ya. I've had a few slip ups myself which have caused some stalls. Im sure your doc will feel proud of your progress though.

Thanks! And yes my surgeon was very pleased with my current loss and feels that i should be good at another 30 to 40lbs lost. I was really surprised and thought he'd want me to lose more since I'm short but im ok with that. My goal weight for right now is 145. I've never been under 192 as anything other than a child lol, so i can't imagine being that low. We'll see what happens. Weighed in yesterday at 202.6lbs. So close to onederland i can almost taste it. How goes things on your end? ????

Surgery date 10/13/16

Height 5'4

HW 260

SW 242

CW 189

Total loss 53lbs

I've had lots of stalls. I find I don't lose or will even gain closest to my period. I've also found that working out pretty intensely helps. I keep track of everything in MyFitnessPal including everything I put into my mouth and all of my exercise. My last stall lasted almost a month with a five pound gain then I dropped 12 lbs in two weeks.

Hi-

My surgery date was 10/24. Started pre-op diet at 230. Date of surgery was 218. Today I'm 188.

I'm 50, female, 5'3". I had a rough 2-3 weeks around the holidays with sweets and actually gained a few pounds but I'm doing much better again. I'm also working out and find that one of my favorite parts of this is being able to see muscle definition in my body.

If I eat Protein first, I'm all set. When I ignore that strategy, it's a problem.

Great to hear how everyone is doing!

I'm struggling. I gained weight and I refused to track my weight again until I lost it. I'm just stuck.

Also, the freaking poop issue is killing me. I just want to poop.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
