Which procedure did you have done ? Everyone is different and loses differently. I was sleeved on 8/31 . I've lost 73 pounds and feel amazing . You need to be the boss and kick ass . There were times the scale didn't move for weeks . Made me work a little harder . Follow your surgeons directions and be true to yourself !! Exercise like a bad ass and don't forget to get in all of your Proteins and liquids . Your here for a reason , you got this :)

We have a partnership with our sleeves. If we do our part by meeting Protein and liquid goals, the sleeve will do its part to help us lose weight. Exercise will help us build strong muscles which will replace the fat.

Self motivation is the best motivation. It is probably a good time to dig a little deeper and work on why you aren't doing your part the best you can.

I've learned that when we hold onto something and aren't willing to let it go, in some way, shape, or form, we are getting something from it. Doesn't mean that is good or bad, it just is. You obviously want to lose the weight or you would not have had surgery. One step at a time is all you need.

I have also found that I seem to lose more weight when up the calories a little. Might be a coincidence.

If you will start exercising, take your body measurements for a comparison. I build muscle very easily so my weight started to go up initially with exercising, drove me nuts till I started comparing my measurements and realised I was losing inches so the weight gain was pure muscle ????. Also, if I don't eat enough Protein, I do not lose weight. It's very confusing mentally since we've all been programmed to "just eat less to lose weight" even though that never worked for me, I still had a mental block against eating MORE ???? hardest part is rewiring the brain.

This might be a good time for complete honesty. Do you follow your surgeons plan and don't deviate from it? Do you get in all the required amounts of Protein and Water? Do you eat a dense Protein first followed by a veggie? Do you use some form of excersise? If yes to all of these, then call your bariatric team and find out what you need to tweek or change. If no, then you know what you need to do. I know it's hard, but you have made it almost 4 months now and you have time to start now and get it turned around. You can do this, I just don't want you looking back one year from now and wishing you had done it differently. Work with a therapist, a nutritionist, do whatever it takes. If you stay on track, a whole new world will open up to you!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
