calling all December 2016 sleevers!

I made a group called "December 2016 Sleevers!" I would love for everyone who has a surgery date in December to join! lets be a great support system for each other and go on this journey to a better us with great friends. Share our success and failures along the way, cheer each other on, wether you already have support from your family and friends or from nobody at all like I've unfortunately seen from some, lets make sure we definitely have each other to lean on! btw they say you normally gain weight around the holidays, are we crazy?! haha

  • Just wanted you all to know my surgery went very well today. The afternoon after I didn't get the right dosage of pain meds and nausea meds so I was miserable. Once the Doctor came to see me he adjust

  • Hi bariatric fan... surgery was done yesterday. The gas pain was awful yesterday and kept me nauseated. I was feeling really bad. But I walked and used my incentive spirometer for breathing exercise

I'm also about to try those vitamin patches! The only drawback I see is they're not waterproof. I'm thinking they'll have to be worn at night after showering! My niece wears them since she's had her surgery 2 years ago!

I wear them too @ cokegal. I replace them every night after my shower. There are great reviews on them and I don't have to worry about the taste of a chewable multivitamin.i paid 60.00 for the gastric sleeve bundle which consists of multivitamin, B12 and vit D.

I've been doing Owkay. I'm from Mozambique, but currently studying and was sleeved in South Africa (Cape Town).

So the set of Vitamins that mostly people talk about here are totally different this side but the experience is the same at the end of the day,and that is why I joined this forum although I'm from the other side of the world :)

Good luck to everyone having surgery today! If I were smart, I would have done it after Christmas as well... but, thinking like that is what got me this way in the first place! [emoji38]
