calling all December 2016 sleevers!

I made a group called "December 2016 Sleevers!" I would love for everyone who has a surgery date in December to join! lets be a great support system for each other and go on this journey to a better us with great friends. Share our success and failures along the way, cheer each other on, wether you already have support from your family and friends or from nobody at all like I've unfortunately seen from some, lets make sure we definitely have each other to lean on! btw they say you normally gain weight around the holidays, are we crazy?! haha

  • Hi bariatric fan... surgery was done yesterday. The gas pain was awful yesterday and kept me nauseated. I was feeling really bad. But I walked and used my incentive spirometer for breathing exercise

@@wruiz hi I my gastric sleeve surgery done on Tuesday Dec.27th. So it has only been 3 days. Could you tell me what your starting weight was and your height? I am just curious about progress-- I know everyone is different but it is fun to hear about successful weight loss. I can't wait to feel better and be a month out from surgery. Thanks for posting

Sure!!, my surgery weight was 231, I haven't weighed since Christmas my weight was 205, my surgery date was 12/8 and I'm 5' tall ( 5 and 1/2 inches, but I'm sure I'll lose that 1/2 inch, lol)

@@wruiz I am so glad to hear that each day gets better..I am having weird pain when getting out of bed and getting comfortable when sleeping It's not bad pain but the type that tells you not to do that again and makes you lay still. I love to sleep on my stomach so sleeping on my back is really bothering me. How long do you think until I can sleep on my stomach again?

Need help! I want to take a gasx chewable, but I am afraid of a reaction. Anyone have any advice?

I'm on day 8 post op.
