calling all December 2016 sleevers!

I made a group called "December 2016 Sleevers!" I would love for everyone who has a surgery date in December to join! lets be a great support system for each other and go on this journey to a better us with great friends. Share our success and failures along the way, cheer each other on, wether you already have support from your family and friends or from nobody at all like I've unfortunately seen from some, lets make sure we definitely have each other to lean on! btw they say you normally gain weight around the holidays, are we crazy?! haha

  • Hi bariatric fan... surgery was done yesterday. The gas pain was awful yesterday and kept me nauseated. I was feeling really bad. But I walked and used my incentive spirometer for breathing exercise

Day 2 and getting ready to check out. Luckily no nausea yet (know on wood) and the pain is manageable. Wasn't so sure about everything yesterday but a new day and one step closer to my goal.

Congrats! It's so AWESOME that you're past the hardest part, and well on your way to where you truly want to be.

Don't look back, turn the page, and let your next chapter begin!

From scar tissue, some people have a problem with it and others don't my surgeon says, But I am home pain free

Oh goodness... please take care of yourself... did they say how you attained a stomach infection?

@@Dknal2 yes I am okay! Thank God for that, just a little stomach infection that had my insides swollen and making it hard to breathe. 2 rounds of antibiotic (mixed with anti-inflammatory meds) good as new! Thanks for asking!

Hello Kenz,

Congrats on your new journey I too am 3 days out from my surgery & basically pain free. I had to also have an emergency hernia repair surgery. So far I have only committed twice, small amounts of dark Fluid.

I am STRUGGLING to consume all the food I am supposed to get in. Other than this, I am feeling really great! Hope you all are doing well also!
