Wow finally someone describing the same exact pain I'm having! The chest pain I've been told is trapped gas that will go away by about the 2 week mark. Not sure about the stomach pain though, once I swallow I get the sharp pain then it goes away. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have been messaging her and helping her. Her BP is back down to normal range last time I asked her to check it. There are many ways to take a BP actually. Wrist, arm, leg, etc.. and with an IUD you usually have irregular bleeding as it is and she is probably used to that if she has had the iud for some time. I told her if her BP goes up again she needs to go to the hospital. She is most likely slightly dehydrated and could attempt to help herself by continuing to drink Water. I never reshared anything that she had not previously shared. I privately messaged anything I thought was sensitive information. I am not offended just simply stating what happened between the poster and I in messages. I told her to continue to monitor her symptoms and go to the hospital for further advice. I also had the surgery on the same day. I got my mom to get be some strips yesterday and I have been passing gas normally. It doesn't relieve all of the gas pains but it does help. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Had my surgery on 12/20. I'm feeling pretty good. Been sleeping in a recliner because I have pain when I lie on my side. Incision pain is my problem right now, I apply heat and it usually resolves. I had to jump through many hoops with BCBS. I'm glad you got it worked out. I almost didn't get my surgery because my height on my original med records did not match my Bari doctors records so the BMI was wrong. It was a mess Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
