Post-op, Time off work

I've just started my 3 month supervised diet. Getting ready for sleeve surgery. I'm wondering how much time did everyone take off work.

I took off 6 weeks. I was sleeved September 28, and I go back to work tomorrow (November 14).

Do you have a physical or desk job? Everyone is different and some people were back at work after a week or even less. I'd say to give yourself 2 weeks just in case. Unless you have a physically demanding job, then it will likely be more.

I have a desk job and was working from home on day 4, fully went back to work after the first week.

I took off three weeks, could have gone back at two but the time off was good.

I have a desk job, took off two weeks. Could have gone back a few days early.

I had surgery Wednesday and went back to work Monday, five days later. It was fine, but I have a very sedentary job.

I was sleeved on Wed Nov 9th and going back Nov 18th so 10 days. I don't have paid leave so it's not my choice. If I could I would have taken 6 weeks.

I have to be in and out of my car all day so I think that will be the most demanding. I'm worried about fatigue also.

I would say take as much as you financially can.

My Dr said 10 days is enough but everyone is different
