How do you know
If I don't finish a meal, I will weigh what is left that I didn't eat and only count the protein I actually ate. I also use my fitness pal and it allows for half and quarter portions. It's not an exact acience, just try to get the best count you can. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App

Scared
I was peteified. Never had general anesthesia before. I remember moving onto the operating table and the anesthesiologist asking if I was comfortable and then he told me to put the oxygen mask over my mouth and that was it. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App

Surgery Monday 10/24 Feeling Hungry
I'm taking 40mg of Protonix. I'm nervous that something went wrong with the surgery. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App I think that's normal. When people are in pain, they think something went wrong with the surgery, when people (like myself) had the easiest recovery (or was hungry the first couple of weeks), we think something went wrong with the surgery. By the 3rd day I felt so "normal" and I swear I thought they didn't do it except that I had holes all over my tummy hehe.... But once I hit the solid food stage, there was no doubt about it. ^^ Your hunger will drop off once the swelling goes down and you get the acid under control. That's how I feel. I have had a pretty easy recovery. Getting in the Protein and liquids, moving around pretty good, didn't have a need for pain killers. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and hoping for the best. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
