And often asking: what type of surgery did you have? How long ago? What post op diet phase are you on?

Are you pre-op?

etc, etc, etc ....

Thank you! Everyone should consider even if you don't see all on mobile version or app you can always view the full/desktop version for some context. I wish mobile would let you see more details when you click a person or maybe their tickers.

I can believe that. I usually use my IPad, but when using my phone I don't have access to everything.

For some reason my phone isn't allowing me to fill these out. Am I missing something?

I wish there was a "revision" surgery option. I lost the majority of my weight in 2009 after the lap band and kept it off all these years until I had my revision. It sure looks weird to see my weight loss and having sleeve surgery 8 weeks ago.

I only can use the smart phone...lap top is dead... can't afford a new one. So I can't add stats... sorry.

Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App

No big deal. I just noticed a lot of people ask the questions before responding because sometimes their answer is based on how recent your surgery was, and your weight. Good luck!!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
