Don't comment with slick remarks

Recommended Posts

I will check anyone who's feels the need to leave rude or smart ass remarks on anything I post about my own weight loss journey. I will drop a picture of me before my surgery and currently to the date picture and make whoever disrespects my post feel like carp. My starting weight is what you end up weighting or more so don't get caught up trying to be funny with me! I was good before my surgery and I'm getting much better as the weeks go by. Peace and Blessing to all. This message goes to the few who tried to play me but they better play lotto at least you have have a chance of getting your dollar back. You stick to your diet once your cleared for solid foods.

Wow. They can do surgery on our bodies. There's nothing they can do to fix a crappy attitude. People gave genuine advice. Don't like it, don't listen to it. The fact that you want to try to make other people feel bad about themselves speaks volumes about the type of person you are. The fact that you would try to fat shame is just deplorable.

You will CHECK me? For what? Ticks? Weapons? Maybe my ID? What does that even mean? :D

Drop a pic, girl! I'd love to see it. I seriously doubt ANYTHING you post will make me feel like "carp". (Wait. Isn't a carp one of those fishies with whiskers?)

And you are going to give me a dollar? Whuuuuutt!?!!. In check form? Is that what the check is all about? :D

I am so confuzzled!!

OHHHHHH!! WAIT!!! Are those Swedish fish things CARP??? I think I get it now!! Add a few zeros to my check for deciphering THAT. :D

And for the record... Clearly your definitions of "peace" and "blessing" are much different than mine. ;)

There will always be something someone says that you don't like or disagree with. How you react is 100% up to you. Shaming people and commenting that your starting weight is what some people on here have worked their tails off to achieve is unnecessary and disrespectful. If you don't like someone's comment or advice, kindly move on... Do not put the hard working people here down.

Learn to move on and not add to the drama.

Carp is a Jewish jelly fish salad, eaten by Catholics at Christmas. Now that's an oxymoron ....... but not as defensive as the first post.

I'd love a big check/cheque as well ......

I was raised Catholic. Never heard of it. EW!

How are you going to be on a weightloss surgery forum and then blast people for being overweight?

You really should just register a new name and start again, because threatening people on here is never going to be forgotten.

Has everyone here gone insane?? Is there a full moon that I don't know about? The posts this week are nuts. Unless I don't know what I'm doing, I went back through OP's posts and didn't find a single post from anyone else to warrant such a reaction. Is it a threat against future comments? The best way to insure turning people against you and getting never ending snarky comments is to threaten and fat shame here. I feel like the site has been taken over and we're all being punked. Threats, fat shaming, ice cream cake while on Clear liquids, eating swedish fish, because . . . you know . . . they're soft and you're hungry. I really can't take it anymore and don't know why I waste my time reading this site. I'm being punked, right???

Oh come on! You ate brussel sprouts and didn't die! This carp salad is a really nice dish, popular in some European countries. I ate it few times and I'm still here :D

Yes, please no carp threats. Fish can be sensitive too .......

Nope, no check. But if I run it through the handy dandy decoder ring, she is gonna make you buy a lotto ticket.

LOL, yes, maybe they are Swedish fish as well. Carp breeds like rabbits.

Gee, truly well travelled international fish! Not sure re checks/cheques though .....

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
